The man and his wife were attending a court hearing in Reggio Emilia as part of separation proceedings when he pulled out a gun and pointed it at his wife and her brother, then started shooting randomly, police said. Eurostar has advised its customers to avoid all travel on Thursday and it has cancelled some of its trains on Thursday and Friday. The wife was taken to a hospital, where she was declared clinically dead, Italian media reported. Her brother died at the scene. Only one in four trains will be running on Thursday, including suburban services linking Paris to its three international airports, she said. |
